With solemn reverence, we commemorate Billie Sue Crabtree (Decatur, Tennessee), whose life came to an end on July 20, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe M. Crabtree Jr. (Joby); her parents, James Plemons and Thelma German; her uncle Clarence; her aunt Alice Thompson; her brothers, Bobby Plemons and Gene Foust; her cousins, Doris Shelton and Jerry Thompson; and her nieces, April Shelton Curtis and Amber Thompson Kistler.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe M. Crabtree Ill (Chastity) and Jason Crabtree (Shea); her grandchildren, Madison Abernathy (Reuben), Mackenzie Crabtree, Cole Crabtree, Luke Crabtree and Tanner Crabtree; her great grandchild Josie Abernathy; her sisters, Shirley Henson of South Carolina, Staci Wilson of Athens, Jennifer Pitts of South Carolina and Linda Dubberly of Georgia; and her friend Pam Breedwell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pisgah Baptist Church (478 Pisgah Academy Rd, Decatur, TN 37322). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pisgah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause Billie supported faithfully throughout her life.
