She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Jr. Gilles and Rose Gilles; her husband David Hurn; and her brothers, Clarence Nicholas Gilles III and James Louis Gilles.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hurn (Dawnella) and Sherry West (Marvin); her grandchildren, Logan Turner (Miranda), Britney West, Seth West (Abby), Michael Hurn Jr., David West and Zane Hurn; her great grandchildren, Adria, Nora, Paisley, Amelia, Asher and Addie Grace; her sister Rosemary Becker (Paul); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Gilles and Donna Gilles. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services (163 Arrants Rd, Decatur, TN 37322). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church (14108 N Nopone Valley Rd, Decatur, TN 37322).
