Ida Owens Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Owens of Decatur, Tennessee, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ida may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ida touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Robert Owens; her son C. R. "Bird" Owens; and her parents, Elmer Heck and Pearl Heck. She is survived by: her daughter Connie Owens; and her sister Iva Dell Varnell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loved family members.
