He was predeceased by : his parents, James Arnold (Jim) and Daisy Carpenter Arnold; his wife Betty Jo Brown Arnold; and his siblings, Jewell Arnold, Berta Lou Davis, Mary Sue Keaton, Mildred Miller and Aileen Monroe.

He is survived by : his children, Diane Dunn, Debbie Leonard (David) and Keith Arnold (Jaclyn); his grandchildren, Jonathan Hale (Jodi), Chris Leonard (Kacie), Adam Leonard (Krystal) and Colbie Arnold; and his great grandchildren, Caden Leonard, Korey Leonard, Garrett Hale, Bristol Bohannon, Braylee Bohannon, Emma Leonard, Kyleigh Casadaball and Matt Courson.
