He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Aikman and Mary "Tookie" Aikman; his brother Robert "Herb" Aikman; and his wife Helen Aikman. He is survived by: his brothers, Ross Aikman and Jim Moore; his siblings' children, Todd Aikman, Kevin Aikman (Tiffany), Elliott Aikman (Hannah), Jada Aikman Leahy and Taylor Aikman; his sister-in-law Barbara Ray; and his close friends, Jeff Womac, Mike Franks, Ronnie Webb, John Webb, Jamie Webb and Bill Kelley. He is also survived by several cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services (163 Arrants Rd, Decatur, TN 37322). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rocky Springs Cemetery.
