He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ruth Burrell; and his sister Shirley Lunsford. He is survived by: his wife Karen Howell Burrell; his children, William Burrell (Amanda) of Decatur, Jonathan Burrell (Christina) of Riceville and Sally Burrell of Sweeny, TX; his grandchildren, Emma Jean, Harper and Mary Cate Burrell; and his close friends, Jack Allen and Johnny Coffman.
