He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Tanner; his brother Dale Hixson; his wife Susan Hixson; his children, Cynthia Brown (Whitney), Benjamin Hixson (Cathleen), Catherine Carlberg (Michael), Chris O'Rourke and Steven O'Rourke; his grandchildren, Jaxson Brown, Elise Hixson, Christian, Chloe, Cheyenne and Carlson Carlberg; and his great grandchild Oakland Carlberg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
