Though Ruby Lee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruby Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tommie Sims; her parents, Irma Meggs and Ben Meggs; and her siblings, James Earl Meggs and Georgia Mae Hill.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Sims (Pam) of Decaturville, TN and Larry Don Sims of Scotts Hill, TN; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Sims (Becky) of Decaturville, TN and Angela Sims (Daniel) of Powell, TN.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Parsons Mortuary (134 W 2nd St, Parsons, TN 38363). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parsons Mortuary Chapel (134 W 2nd St, Parsons, TN 38363). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
