He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ernest and Margaret Elizabeth Jernigan (Doughty); and his sister Rebecca Jernigan. He is survived by: his wife Doris Conner Jernigan; his daughters, Geneva Stella and Jennifer Patrick (Ben); and his grandchildren, Thomas Stella, Raul Lopez, Katelynn Lopez (Trevon Ploss) and Shane Patrick.
