With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph D. Ellison of Del Rio, Tennessee, who passed away on March 18, 2022 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances "Toppie" Ellison and George C. Ellison; his grandparents, Fred and Bessie Ellison; his sister Patricia "Patty" Hodges; and his nephews, Danny Ray Hodges and Geoffery Lee Ellison.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Ellison; his grandchildren, Jackson of Newport, Brynnleigh of Newport and Kendalynn Ellison-Ottinger of Newport; his siblings, Darrell Ellison (Sherry) of White Pine, Wimp Ellison (Heather) of Del Rio, Brian Ellison (Teresa) of Del Rio, Karen Sisk (Roy) of Newport, June Rathbone (Don) of Del Rio, Michelle Ball of Del Rio and Kimberly Fleming (Bruce) of Del Rio; and his brother-in-law Charlie Hodges of Alton, Illinois.. He is also survived by eight nephews, seventeen nieces, ten great nephews, sixteen great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Costner-Maloy to help cover the final expense.
