He is survived by: his wife Edith Barrett; his children, Donald Wiley Barrett, David Kent Barrett (Mareia) and Karen Reece (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Kelly Knott, William Jack Barrett III, Ethan Barrett, Eston Barrett, Eian Barrett, Jennifer Valentine and Jacob Reece.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jonestown Cemetery.
