He is survived by: his sons, Travis Bates and Dustin Bates (Tanya); his siblings, Mickey Bates (June), Ross Bates (Mary), Nina Rowland, Dorene Bates and Kay Woodruff; and his grandchildren, Cysler White (Will), Noah Bates and Molly Bates. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
