We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2025, Altha Jean Hooper McRee (Dickson, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Greer Hooper and Effie Mae Sullivan Hooper; her husband Nelson Douglas McRee Sr.; her sons, Nelson McRee and Casey McRee; and her siblings, Curtis Hooper, Dallas Hooper, Mary Adcock and Cecil Hooper.
She is survived by: her daughter Victoria McRee of White Bluff, TN; her grandchildren, Bronson McRee and Catherine Wenck; her sister Libby Hooper; and her daughter-in-law Debbie McRee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055).
