He is survived by: his child Daphney Cunningham Yates (Marshall) of Ashland City, TN.; his grandchildren, Amy Gibbs and James Thomas Yates; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Trotter and Ayla Gibbs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
