With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carter Franklin Lee Smith (Dickson, Tennessee), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 10. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Everli Iris Faith Smith; and his grandfathers, Cam "Poppy" Dodson and Tommy "Papaw" Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Travis Lee Smith and Ginni Smith; his siblings, Jorja Forsberg (Kyle), Jaxen Stiltner, Gavin Brazzell and Grady Smith; his grandmothers, Robbie Dodson and Jeanine Smith; his uncle Randy Smith (Cheryl); and his siblings' children, Camryn and Beau Forsberg. He is also survived by many cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
