He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Humphres and Evelyn Johnson Humphres. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Wolfe Humphres; his sons, Jerry Dale Humphres (Lesley) of Lyles and Jeffrey Dale Humphres of Franklin, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Katie Vaine (Dustin), Hailey Humphres, Stephanie Humphres, Madison Pendergrass, Allison Pendergrass, Hannah Pendergrass, Brantley Vaine and Saylor Vaine.
