With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dana Miles Owens of Dickson, Tennessee, born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harlan Hector and Corrine Owens (Buton); his son Dana Miles Owens, Jr.; and his grandsons, Jesse and Joseph Sanders.

He is survived by : his wife Lula Mai Owens; his daughters, Patricia Coone (Daniel), Vanessa Owens and Tina Rich (Jeffery); his grandchildren, Rebecca Johnson (Josh), Racheal Dearborn (Joe), J. D. Sumerour (Chandler) and Kayla Petty (Larson); and his great grandchildren, Brysen, Jacob, Brenen, Brock, Elizabeth, Neyland, Jackson and Asher.
