She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Benson and Virginia Wratchford Benson; her husband John Tully, Jr. (Larry Kiest); her grandson Jerry Wayne Teet; and her siblings, Roy, Elmer, George, Glenn, Patricia, Edna, Ronald and Jesse.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kara Thomas (Richard) and Laura Teet (Richard); her grandchildren, Cody Dile (Chelsea), Kayleigh Thomas, Steven Thomas, Lily Thomas, Anastasia Teet and Jacob Teet; her great grandchildren, Landon Dile, Tate Dile, Kinsley Teet, Jace Teet and Isabella Teet; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Benson, Patricia Sheldon and Barbara Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 10023 TN-46, Bon Aqua, TN 37025.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Imagination Library to bring the love of reading to all children.
