He is survived by: his wife Carol Thomas; his sons, Michael Edward Thomas and Nicholas Todd Thomas (Sarah); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Humphreys (Luke), Jordan Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Emily Thomas and Stella Thomas; his great grandchild Georgia Anne; and his sister Debra Nelson (Dan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
