She was predeceased by: her parents, Caswell Humphrey and Myrtie Cooper Humphrey; her husband George A. Hewett; and her son-in-law Byron Stapp. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Stapp of Dickson and Melinda Hewett of Dickson; her granddaughter Ashley Elliott of Dickson; her stepdaughter Ginny Lawrence (Wayne); and her siblings-in-law, Randall Hewett of North Carolina, Frances Capshaw of Florida and Pauline Hewett of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
