He was predeceased by: his parent Odell Lankford; and his former wife Shirley Lankford. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lankford of Smyrna, TN; his children, Jason Lankford (Alicia) of Smyrna, TN and Wendy Bullock of Antioch, TN; and his grandchildren, Micah Bullock, Adrian Bullock, James Bullock, Gage Lankford and Christopher-Paul Smith.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Antioch First Baptist Church.

“I have just learned of the passing of Lee, and I am so sorry. Lee was a long-time friend, supporter and volunteer at the Sam Davis Home in Smyrna. He and Shirley loved reenacting and did a wonderful job. Lee taught the "School of the Soldier" to many young boys including my three grandsons. My sincerest condolences to his wife, Margaret, and to his children and grandchildren. Lee was a fine man. Patsy Brown”
