James Lietz Obituary

We announce the death of James Lietz of Dickson, Tennessee, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 85. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Lietz and Myrtle Dudgeon Lietz; and his daughter Michele. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Mark (Venas), Michael and Melissa Hightower (Robert); his grandchildren, William Lietz (Alexis) and Maci Lietz; and his sisters, Faye Hirt and Donna Kentner (Dean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
