She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Garrett and Mary Ann Garrett (Bowker); her husband Sherman Hooper; her grandchildren, John, Craig and Rebecca Hooper; and her siblings, Pearl Garrett Reep, Willie, Melvin, James "Slim", Ewing, Allen, Robert and Johnny Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Hooper (Donna), Larry Wayne Hooper and Sharon Hooper. She is also survived by four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Liberty Cemetery (500 Corlew Rd, Charlotte, TN 37036).
