He is survived by: his wife Donna Hayes of Dickson, TN; his children, Monty Hayes (Melissa) of Dickson, TN, Curtis Hayes of Charlotte, TN, Cody Hayes of Dickson, TN, Jeff Harris (Jennifer) of Dickson, TN and Lisa Swaw (Steve) of Charlotte, TN.; his brothers, Billy Shaw Hayes of Charlotte, TN, Charles Lee Hayes of Ashland City, TN, Geary Hayes (Brenda) of Cookville, TN, Maurice Hayes (Trudy) of Charlotte, TN, Robin Hayes (Diane) of Dickson, TN, Douglas Hayes (Donna) and Paul Hayes; and his grandson Mark Edward Hayes.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
