He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Bishop and Catherine Bishop (Van Cise); and his siblings, Dan Bishop and Peggy Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bishop; his children, Jason Bishop (Rich Basler) and Amanda Bishop (Daniel Foreman); his granddaughters, Alexus Portman (Nick Goins), Aleaha Portman (Cody Varden) and Abigail Noland; and his great grandchild Aubrey Goins. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, the Primary Stroke Center at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, or Alive Hospice in Nashville.
