She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Eugene "Genie" Barnhill and Jo Ann Nolen Barnhill. She is survived by: her sisters, Connie Mills (Tony) of Elberton, Georgia, Donna Buchanan of Baxter and Carolyn Barnhill of Dickson, Tennessee.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
