Though Posetta may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander Crockett and Mildred Crockett (Cagle); and her stepson Chris Mayo. She is survived by : her husband Ray Mayo of Dickson, TN; her stepdaughter Cindy Mayo (Sue); and her great grandchildren, Mason, Logan, Gabby and Lilianna.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
