She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Buchanan and Mamie Morgan Buchanan; her husband James Lee Cox, Jr.; and her brothers, Chester Buchanan, Jesse Paul Buchanan and Marshall Buchanan.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Cox (Lisa) of Bon Aqua and Terri Dysinger (Rick) of Bon Aqua; her siblings, Malcolm Buchanan (Faye) of Bon Aqua, Michael Buchanan (Pam) of Bon Aqua, Lucy Redden of Mississippi and Margie Floyd (Luther) of Georgia; her grandchildren, Krista Ferrell (Kevin), Chelsea Cox, Amy McCollom (Clint) and Zachary Dysinger (Mackenzie); her great grandchildren, Dalton Ferrell, Morgan Ferrell, Alayna Turnbow, Owen Turnbow and Madelynn Cox; and her daughters, Ruthie Buchanan and Janice Buchanan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
For those desiring, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Bon Aqua.
