He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd John and Margaret Dell Shertz Wenck. He is survived by: his wife Lou Anne Wenck of Dickson, TN; his children, James Robert Wenck (Charlotte) of McEwen, TN, Jessica Lee Taylor (Joshua) of Jackson, TN and Joey Kirk Wenck (Sierra) of Charlotte, TN; his siblings, John Wenck (Linda) of San Antonio, TX, Rev. Carl Wenck (Gwen) of Murfreesboro, TN, David Wenck (Kathie) of Branson, MO, Caryn Staples (Cal) of San Antonio, TX and Ruth Harwood of San Jose, CA; and his grandchildren, Catherine, Kaitlyn, Isaac, Olivia, Levi, Ethen, Zoe and Caleb. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
