With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Jackson Long (Dickson, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. James T. Jackson and Mary Ann Aitchison Jackson; and her brothers, Dr. Robert Jackson and Dr. Bill Jackson. She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Walter, Dr. Roger Jackson, Terry Todd, Doug Jackson, Lisa Hawkins, Andrea Luplow and Amy Cronin; and her children, Meredith Pelham (Shuler), Ed Long (Heidi) and Melissa Swain (Jeremy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
