With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Alan Swang (Dickson, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Axel Swang and Doris Cluck Swang; and his son Bedford Swang. He is survived by: his wife Connie Shelton Swang of Carthage, TN; his daughters, Breanna Swang of Boynton Beach, FL and Brette Swang (Jake Neal) of Carthage, TN; his brother Dr. Ron Swang (Susan) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Ella, Emily and Maxwell; and his sibling's children, Stephanie Edwards (Jeff), Shane Harris (April), Jenny Martin (Greg), Laura Karkau (David) and Beth Ewing (Michael).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Those desiring in lieu of flowers gifts may be given to assist the family with end-of-life expenses.
