Tamy Ellis-McLendon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tamy Ellis-McLendon in Dickson, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Leslie Lynn Whitehead; her parents, Lester Ellis, Sr. and Virginia Ruth Eleazer; and her sisters, Brenda Boyd, Brenda Winkler and Peggy Bedard.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil McLendon; her son Jesse Lee McLendon; her siblings, Lester "Sonny" Ellis Jr. (Linda) and Linda Lancaster; her grandchildren, Ross Stephens, Ben McLendon and Rayna McLendon; and her great grandchild Chole Miller.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home (1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the First Canaan Baptist Church (3851 Jarman Hollow Rd, Palmyra, TN 37142).
