With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Sue Thompson of Dickson, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Brown and Dorothy Wallace Street; and her son Charles Edward Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, Antony Quenton Thompson Thompson (Tony) of Dickson, TN, Allen Shawn Thompson of Lyles, TN and Benjamin Edward Thompson of Dickson, TN.; her siblings, Bobby Street of Hohenwald, TN., Debbie Mitchell of Dickson, TN and Linda Gail Wingate; her grandchildren, E. V., Drake, Morgan, Jasmine and Jonathan; and her great grandchildren, Will, Rylan, Able, Millie, Josie, Daisy and Ogden.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055).
