He is survived by: his son Nicholas Lanier Brown (Fonda); his wife Jo Ann Lanier Brown; his children, David Brown (Kimberly) and Kelley Stewart (Wendell); his sister Linda Hoggard; his grandchildren, David Brown Jr., Justin Hughes (Victoria) and Sydney Burton; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Lanier and Michael Lanier; and his cousins, Doris Grigsby, Mary, Jessica Evans and Donald Shanklin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
