William Wheeler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Wheeler of Dickson, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2025 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Wheeler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Wheeler and Lorene Wheeler (Atchison). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Faye Wheeler of Dickson, TN.; his children, Barry Downs (Janet) of McEwen, TN, Brad Downs (Chelsea) of Cookeville, TN, Stephanie Hartsook of Burns, TN, David Wheeler (Julie) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Michelle Culbreth (Wayne) of Germantown, TN.; his sister Nancy Wheeler of Waverly, TN.; his grandchildren, Amelia Darden (Terrence), Jake Downs (Tashana), Jessica Garrett (Matthew), Logan Downs (Ashley), Madeline Culbreth, Eli Culbreth, Bentley Culbreth, Trey Hartsook (Dixie), Whitney Wheeler, Abby Wheeler, Mallary Maynard and Carson Downs; and his great grandchildren, Laila, Ace, Lainey, Isaac, Noah, Hannah, Wyatt, Graham, Zeke and Isaiah.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Compassion Church – Dickson in memory of Donnie.
