It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willie Mae Walker of Donelson, Tennessee, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marion Buckner and Rosa Patton Buckner; her husband James Walker; and her daughter Gwendolyn Ann Walker. She is survived by: her son James Michael Walker (Lori) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Bret Walker (Amy) of Knoxville, Claire Wiley (Clint) of Nashville and Kyle Walker (Kelly) of Charlotte, NC; and her great grandchildren, James, Savannah and Theo. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Donelson Church of Christ (2706 Old Lebanon Rd, Nashville, TN 37214). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Hermitage Memorial Gardens (535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Arc of Davidson County and Greater Nashville.
