She is survived by: her husband Floyd Russell Cooper; her children, William Layman of Vermont, Stephen Layman of Massachusetts and Wendy Bertram of Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Cory Bertram of New York and Sarah Layman of Massachusetts; her niece Holly Layman of Connecticut; and her brother Lorin Smith of Maine.
