He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Gibbs and Clara Herndon Gibbs; and his wife Betty Ann Gibbs. He is survived by: his children, Joann Gibbs Hicks and Bronson Gibbs; his grandson Adam (Lindsey Hicks); his great grandchildren, Adair Hicks and Maura Hicks; his sister Mary Esther Whitehead; and his pet Binks. He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
