He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse L. Boren and Mary Magdaline Madrey Boren; his half-siblings, Troy Boren (Ruby), Willard Boren (Leona), Lurline Stalls (Ernest) and Lona Morgan (Elbert); and his sister-in-law Carol Boren.
He is survived by: his wife Betty T. Boren; his daughters, Melody Boren and Wendy Watson (Terry); his granddaughters, Melina Watson and Makayla Curtis (Justin); his brother Dale Boren; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Steele. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
