He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lester Stark Sr. and Mary Jane Stark (Kern); his grandson James M. Miller; and his brother-in-law Gordon Richards. He is survived by: his wife Linda Richard Stark; his children, John Stark Jr. (Rachael), Jason Stark (Melanie) and Janet Pettice (Brian); his siblings, Joseph Stark Jr. (Becky), Gerald "Jerry" Stark (Janice), Jeffrey Stark (Debbie) and JaNell Stark; his grandchildren, Kristen Hotchkiss (Trevor), Andrea Stark, Josiah Stark, Stacie Wamsteeker (Anthony), Mark Stark, Levi Stark, Drew Stark, Alex Stark, Rose Stark and Aidan Pettice; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Wamsteeker, Miriam Wamsteeker, Isaac Mooy, Lydia Mooy and Nolan Hotchkiss. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
