He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lee Napier, Sr. and Alma Carnahan Napier (family: Middle); his grandparents, Frank, Maude Jenkins Napier, William and Irene Bates Carnahan; his parents-in-law, Clyde and Ora Mahan Billings; his sisters, Judy Napier Bryan and Patsy Napier; his siblings-in-law, Randall Bryan, Lloyd Billings, John Billings, Joel Billings, Jimmy Lorance, Jack Tucker, David Fedak and Clara Nell Billings; his nephews, David Billings and Daniel Billings; and his niece Kerie Corley.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Billings Napier; his daughters, Sarah (Judson Bailey) and Lora Napier (Stephen Lee); his grandchildren, John, Mary Bailey of Huntsville, AL, Iris and Ada Lee of South Orange, NJ.; his brother Charles Napier of Alexandria; his siblings-in-law, Berle, Mamie Billings of Smithville, TN, Sue, Bill Dearman of Miami, FL, Loretta Sharritts of Tequesta, FL, Rebecca Tucker, Kaye Fedak of Murfreesboro, TN, Sharon, Chris Hargrove of Viola, TN, Susan Billings of Byrdstown, TN and Sarah Billings of Wilmington, NC.; his nieces and nephews, Joshua, Rachel Bryan, Amanda and Jeff Mason; and his friends, Howard Junior and Freida Reynolds.
