He was predeceased by : his sister Linda Sue Turner; and his brother-in-law Franklin Turner. He is survived by : his wife Kay Maples; his children, Allen Maples (Billie) and Michelle Maples; his grandchildren, Jacob Maples and Anna Maples; his sister Barbara Honeycutt (Dean); his nephews, Jonathan Honeycutt, Dr. Paul Honeycutt (Patricia), Christopher Turner (Lori) and David Turner; and his mother-in-law Luzelle Mason. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Veteran's Honor Guard.
