He is survived by: his children, Marlo Pate (Chris) of Union City, TN, Joyce Carter (Chris) of Newbern, TN, Daphne Pate of Yorkville, TN, Brian Pate of Knoxville, TN, Kathy Cerny (Bruce) of Ocala, FL and Cara I'Barra of Dyersburg, TN. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
