He was predeceased by : his parents, Dallas Franklin Hogan and Betty Ann Ivy Hogan; and his siblings, Ernest Hogan, Greg Hogan, Debra Barker and Jennifer Butts.

He is survived by : his children, Joshua Hogan (Robyn) of Franklin and Kimberly Robinson (Elijah) of Goldston; his grandchildren, Jayce, Presley, Asher and Ryleigh; his brothers, Bobby Hogan (Tonya) of Dresden, Ricky Hogan (Sandy) of Dresden and Michael Hogan of Dresden; and his brothers-in-law, George Barker of Dresden and Van Butts of Dresden. He is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews.
