With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jason Ray of Dresden, Tennessee, born in Shelbyville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jason departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jason. Though Jason may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brother Tommy P. Farrar. He is survived by: his son Trevor Ray; and his siblings, William Ray of Shelbyville, Melissa Kelly of Georgia, Sandra Farrar of Shelbyville and James Farrar of Shelbyville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Doak-Howell Funeral Home (739 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
