She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ellis Cochran and Mary Frances Baker Cochran; her spouse Leslie Van Ward; her brothers, Earl Baker Cochran and John Franklin Cochran; and her sister-in-law Shirley Jean Layne Cochran.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Lynn Watkins (William), Mary Christine Thoman (Steven), Steven Wayne McKennon (Holly), Timothy Paul McKennon (Vicky), Adam Ward, Jon Ward (Tonya) and Evan Ward (Jane); her grandchildren, Ashton Lynn Overstreet, Dustin McKennon, Amber Clark, Courtney Clark, Carly McKennon, Tyler McKennon, Anthony Watkins, Kylie Ward, Sam Ward, Jack Ward, Grant Ward and Chase Ward; her great grandchildren, Chole Nicole Kelley, Kristen Hope Kelley, Marcus Anthony Overstreet, Mataeo Overstreet and Ciara Nicole Overstreet; her sister-in-law Linda Jane Cochran; and her sibling's children, Karla Harber, Greg Cochran and David Cochran.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
