He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Hackert and Alvina Swick Hackert; and his sister Minna Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Karen Shaw Hackert; his children, Jack Hackert (Judy), David Hackert (Cindy), Jeremy Hackert, Joshua Hackert and Amanda Hight (Robert); his siblings, Allen Hackert (Jackie), Arthur Hackert (Rose), Dan Hackert (Connie), Don Hackert (Susan), Mary Lou Hudson, Robin French (Richard) and Rose Rudd (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brianna, Joy, David, Alex, Cody and Tristan; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
