It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monroe Vaughn of Duck River, Tennessee, born in Hampshire, Tennessee, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Monroe Vaughn, Sr. and Annie Mae Vaughn; and his siblings, Francis Givens, Bud Brewer, Roy Vaughn, Lou Rochelle and Betty Cothran.
He is survived by: his significant other Hazel Jones; his daughter Angelia Roberts (Tom); his stepsons, Daniel Jones, Jr. (Claudia), Ronnie Jones and Doug Jones (Dawn); his grandchildren, Keifer Roberts, Ashley, Sarah, Selena, Chelsea, Nathan Jones, Destinee Hayes, DJ Barber, Sara Semran and Ryan Davis-Barber; his sister Gayle Shelden; and his pet Bubba. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
