The memory of Ulysses Taylor Jr. of Ducktown, Tennessee, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid Ulysses farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ulysses is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Taylor (Vickie) and Sandi Cole (Eddie); his grandchildren, Daniel Taylor and Kyra Webb (Tyler); his great grandchild Taylyn Webb; and his brothers, Tom Taylor (Linda) and Danny Taylor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mine City Baptist Church (135 Main St, Ducktown, TN 37326). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
