He is survived by: his wife Reatha Hackworth Caldwell; his children, Charles Caldwell, Carlene Layne (Terry), Reda Smith and Robin Caldwell; his brother Ted Caldwell (Maxine); his grandchildren, Amanda Layne, Amber Seybold (Matt), Austin Layne, Kylee Cunningham, Chloe Burton, Kane Caldwell, Conner Caldwell and Paisley Sims; and his great grandchildren, Sophie Seybold and Scarlett Seybold.
